On November 28, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Muzaffar Huseinzoda met with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Ms. Reem Al-Hashimy on the sidelines of the 47th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). At the meeting issues of the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, mechanisms of expanding political, trade, economic and cultural cooperation were discussed. The parties noted the importance of strengthening of mutually beneficial collaboration in the framework of international and regional structures. The interlocutors exchanged views on the preparation to EXPO scheduled to be held in Dubai and Tajikistan’s participation in this event.
